Mr. Imatitikua Williams Akengbowa is a distinguished health professional and visionary community leader whose personal and professional journey embodies excellence, compassion, and impactful leadership. As the Founder and Director of Akensupport, a trusted NDIS provider, Mr. Akengbowa is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals living with disability through client-focused, inclusive, and high-quality support services.
With over two decades of experience as healthcare professional, Mr. Akengbowa brings a wealth of expertise in clinical practice, health management, and strategic leadership. His career has been shaped by a commitment to service and excellence, most notably through his progressive leadership roles at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he played a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, team development, and service innovation within one of Australia’s leading healthcare institutions.
Mr. Akengbowa’s academic foundation includes a Diploma in Disability from Kanga institute, Bachelor of Nursing from Charles Darwin University and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health from the University of Newcastle, Australia. These qualifications have not only deepened his clinical acumen but also informed his holistic, person-centred approach to mental health and disability support.
